Technical Writer - Developer Documentation
Job Description
Atlassian is hiring a Technical Writer to join our Developer Documentation team in Austin. You'll be creating the documentation that helps thousands of developers integrate with our products like Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket. This role involves working closely with engineering teams to understand complex technical concepts and translating them into clear, actionable documentation that enables developers to build successful integrations. You'll write API references, create code samples, develop tutorials, and maintain our developer portal while ensuring our documentation meets the highest standards for accuracy and usability. We're seeking someone with strong technical writing skills who understands developer workflows and can create documentation that truly helps developers succeed. Responsibilities
Create and maintain comprehensive API documentation, develop tutorials and guides for developer integrations, collaborate with engineering teams to document new features, conduct user research to improve documentation usability, manage documentation site architecture and information organization.
