Instacart is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join our Personalization team in San Francisco. You'll be building the AI systems that help millions of customers discover products, plan meals, and shop more efficiently through personalized recommendations. This role involves developing sophisticated algorithms that understand shopping preferences, dietary restrictions, and seasonal trends while ensuring our recommendations are relevant and helpful. You'll work with massive datasets of shopping behavior, product catalogs, and user preferences to create ML models that power features like personalized product rankings, recipe suggestions, and smart shopping lists. We're looking for someone with strong ML engineering skills who can build scalable systems that improve customer experience and drive business growth.
